Description:
The Flame Thrower [PAC/RAT] was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1983. It was also sold in 1984 and was discontinued in 1985. At some later point, the three PAC/RATs were sold mail-order as a set from Hasbro Direct.
Easily Broken/Lost Pieces:
The PAC/RATs have many small pieces that can break or become lost, and the remote control is also very easily lost.
International Variants:
In Brazil, the Flame Thrower PAC/RAT was sold as the Robó-Lança-Chamas. In Argentina, it was sold as the Robot Lanza-Llamas.
