The APC [Amphibious Personnel Carrier] was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1983. The toy was also sold in 1984 and was discontinued in 1985.

The APC was also sold via mail-order by Hasbro Direct in 1992 (see variants below).

Easily Broken/Lost Pieces:

The two long seat belts are the most commonly lost pieces. Also, make sure that the steering wheel isn't missing.

Variations:

While most of it was identical to the original APC, the mail-order version had a dark-green top instead of the tan camouflage top. This mail-in version with the dark-green top was also used to create the convention exclusive CUDA.

The vehicle mold was repainted or retooled for the following vehicles:

International Releases:

In Europe in the early 1980s, the APC was recolored in dark green and black and released as the Z-Force Armoured Troop Carrier. The interior of the APC was heavily re-tooled.

In Argentina, the APC was sold as the Transporte Tactico Anfibio.

In Brazil, the APC was sold as the Transporte Tãtico Anfíbio.
