The FLAK [Field Light Attack Cannon] was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1982. The toy was also sold in 1983 and was discontinued domestically in 1984.

The FLAK was later available in 1985 and 1986 as a flag-point mail-in offer from Hasbro Direct.

Easily Broken/Lost Pieces:

Take extra care with the chair of the FLAK. The tabs that hold the seat to the body of the FLAK can sometimes break off.

International Releases:

In Europe in the early 1980s, the FLAK was recolored in dark green and black and released as the Action Force FLAK.
