The Mobile Command Center was released boxed in U.S. toy stores with Leatherneck (v4) in 2003. The Mobile Command Center was a Toys R Us exclusive.
The Mobile Command Center reuses the mold from the original Mobile Command Center (1987), with only a slight difference in colors.
The playset changed from a command center to mobile command vehicle, and featured a service bay with fold-out ramp and a command bay.
