The final look of this statue was determined by sculptor extraordinaire Clayburn Moore, who designed the pose, costume and look of this character entirely from Howard's text. Mr. Moore is known for his realism in the human anatomy, and he hits the mark again with this piece. This sculpt was delayed a number times because Mr. Moore was insistent that the overseas companies actually producing this meet his exacting standards. And judging by the final product, the wait was well worth. Kull of Atlantis stands approximately 16" tall and is limited to just 500 pieces worldwide. With bullwhip flailing and idol in hand, Indiana Jones flees the temple with the now legendary gigantic boulder hot on his heels! Since lesser men have failed in their quest for this object, look for evidence of such, such as the grisly torso on the right. The amount of detail in this diorama is simply stunning and will certainly be the centerpiece of any Indy collection.
