Available now from Bowen Designs is their Captain America WWII Statue. Randy Bowen himself sculpted this piece. The statue is in 1/6 scale and stands 12 1/2" tall overall. The anatomy on this piece is flawless, and the detail shows the scales in the Captain's star-spangled uniform/armor. Naturally, this version comes with the old school uniform and shield he had when he first went into battle. With the recent death and possible resurrection of Captain America in the comics and a Hollywood film in the works, this sculpt is a can't miss.

Available soon is the Animated Emperor Maquette from Gentle Giant. The latest addition to Gentle Giant's Star Wars Animated Maquette line is none other than the head honcho himself, Emperor Palpatine. This sculpt is wonderfully detailed and features the character's creepy yellow eyes, sallow skin, disfigured hand and a fantastic flowing robe with a hood. He will come in a four-color box and a certificate of authenticity.

Available now is the Ikki Tousen Sonsaku Hakufu Wet Hair Version 1/7 Scale Cold Cast Statue from Griffon. This figure is for ADULT COLLECTORS ONLY. The backstory for this character is this: A young girl named Hakufu Sonsaku has a burning desire to beat people up but her mother has forbidden it. After a chance encounter with a Toushi at school, Hakufu's mother asks her to leave home and go to Tokyo, where she can develop her abilities as a Toushi, and fight to her heart's content. This playful, sexy piece is about 5" tall (because of the seated pose) and comes in a window box.

And finally, check out the Batman Black and White Statue, Jim Lee Version from DC Direct. DC Direct has a huge hit on their hands with this line of sculpts, and they have never failed to impress. This recent release features the Dark Knight as depicted by legendary artist Jim Lee. It features a dynamic pose with a gorgeous, flowing cape and comes with the matching logo-shaped base. Because he's crouched, this piece stands approximately 5" tall but is 7" wide by 5" deep. Like the other statues in this run, he comes in a black and white box.
