Two Books from Hasbro Artist Richard Marcej

Two Books from Hasbro Artist Richard Marcej

Richard Marcej worked as an artist at Hasbro from 1983 to 1989, and worked on lines such as Transformers, Air Raiders, C.O.P.S. N' Crooks, Inhumanoids, G.I.Joe, Battle Beasts and Army Ants.

My Artwork and Designs at Hasbro 1983-1989 features a portion of that art, and the G.I.Joe section contains four pages of line art used in the G.I.Joe Style Guides, which was then used on much of the merchandise available from that period. The evolution of the Battle Force 2000 logo is also shown, including five alternate designs.

Action Figure: From the Journals of Richard Marzelak #1 features a semi-autobiographical look at the author's work at "Hasmark", the world's largest toy and greeting card company.

Both books and a sampling of Hasbro art are currently available from www.baboonbooks.com.
