We have had a trial chat room open for the last few weeks on the Shadow World IRC server. We have had some people come and chat, but not as many as we were hopeing would join us. We recieved eMails, forum messages, & IMs saying all the reasons why you were coming. Well, we fixed one of those reason by installing on site java access to the chat room. Now for those people who didn't want to download an IRC client, you don't have to. Just type in www.yojoe.com/joechat/ and you will be on the chat page.

For those of you who still want to try the other method then go to www.mirc.com and download their latest mIRC program. It will tell you that it is a trial software for 30 days, but no worries. When 30 days is up the program will continue to work free of charge.

After you install the program and start it up and pass the box with the guys face in it, you will be on the mIRC Options box. You must enter your name, eMail, nickname, & alternate nickname in order to connect to the server. Once you have done that click on the orange blob and you will be on anoher options screen. Click the drop down box under "IRC Network" and look for ShadowWorld. If you see it, click on it and then click the "Connect to Server" button. How to connect to room will be further down the page. If you don't see it, you need to program it in to the program. Follow these steps to do so:

• Click the "Add" button
• Enter Description: ShadowWorld
• Enter IRC Server: irc.shadowworld.net
• Ener Group: ShadowWorld
• Click the "Add" button

Now that you are connected to the server you need to be able to get in the room. First off close the pop-up channels box, you won't need that anytime soon. Second, in the window that all the text flew across the screen (Status Window), type in: "/join #YoJoe" into the text area at the bottom of that screen. A new window should pop up and that is the Yo Joe chat room.
