Hi all,
We wanted to tell you about a few new things going on at SMALLJOES.COM.
GI JOE
Wave 2 of the single-carded figures is now in stock featuring several
favorites such as Scarlett, BAT v4, Alley-Viper, and more!
The Ninja Battles five figure diorama set is now available. This is
a nice set for you ninja/martial arts fans. Includes a comic book
and a DVD.
The Armored Strike add-on for the GI JOE Trading Card Game has been
stocked. This 78 card set add more characters, and now, vehicles to
the game increasing your strategic options. These nice cards are a must
have whether you collect the cards to play or just complete a set for
the cool artwork.
GI JOE comic #39 is now in stock. Also available is the Tim Seeley
GI JOE sketchbook, which was a GI JOE convention exclusive in 2004.
A limited quantity of the GI JOE 2004 convention exclusive toys have
been listed on the site. These include the Hydrofoil, STUN, Morphing
Zartan 3-pack, and Dreadnok Drivers 2-pack. Very limited quantities
available.
We now have a second printing/alternate cover of Dreamwave's Transformers
GI JOE II issue #1.
Since it was out of stock for a long time, might be worthwhile mentioning
that we have restocked volume one of James DeSimone's Guide to Collecting
GI JOE Figures.
BAD NEWS FOR GI JOE COMIC 3-PACKS
We were expecting the third assortment (#6, #7, and #8) by the end of
the month. Instead, we won't be getting any. Hasbro sales has informed
us that production is being "limited" on this product line, and this is
a decision by "marketing".
This means that they're not manufacturing enough of this product to meet
their wholesale orders and that the smaller retailers will be the first
to get the shaft. We hope this is not representative of Hasbro's
disposition toward their smaller retail customers for 2005, but time
will tell.
We've already been warned that the fourth assortment (packs #9, #10, #11)
will likely suffer the same shortages so we really have no idea if we'll
be able to get any even though we've already ordered and paid for them.
Therefore, our advice to you our customer is to take your first reasonable
opportunity to get these without delay - assuming such an opportunity even
presents itself.
21ST CENTURY TOYS
The super-nice 1:18 scale German Panzer Ausf. IV is now in stock.
CLEARANCE
We over-bought product that you really weren't all that interested in.
Our loss is your gain - so check out our clearance aisle, where you can
find a lot of great deals on items we want out of our inventory. What
once looked uninterseting might have a new luster at a much lower price.
