Remember a few weeks back where some of the yet-to-be-released 2001 figures were auctioned off on Ebay? One of the auction winners has graciously sent pictures of the new Cobra Commander and Laser Viper figures.

"Cobra Commander: Same mold as the TRU 3pack (made in China, 1997 Hasbro on legs, no peg on helmet for hose). Hose is not attached, but included in parts tray. I glued mine in the mouth-piece, since the peg on the helmet is missing.
"The blue color of the undersuit is darker, and the torso, waist and leg details are painted grey, not silver like the original. Backback is the same, but the gun is a tiny Uzi...from Sanke-eyes #1.... No paint wipes on the commander. I think I like this one better than the original."
"Laser Viper: Sci-fi #2's body... with a new head sculpt. A Cobra tampo is on the helmet. A LOT of paint wipes on the body..."
