The G.I.Joe figures and vehicles have been released in Canada. The current figure assortment (Big Ben/WhiteOut, etc), along with the A.W.E. Striker, Man-O-War, and Locust were found at Toys R Us stores in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario.
The items and packaging are exactly identical to the U.S. releases.
An intrepid Cobra spy forwarded this information from a Canadian Toys R Us. It lists the SKN, price (in Canadian dollars), and Estimated Time of Arrival. Note that the ETAs have already passed.

While the 2000 G.I.Joes have been available in the United States, our neighbors to the north in Canada have not been so lucky. Aside from a few small stores that imported them from the U.S., the major retailers in Canada do not have the 2000 G.I.Joes.
It looks like a lot of you have been calling and emailing both Hasbro Canada and Toys R Us. I've received several email from Canadians who were told by Hasbro Canada and/or Toys R Us that the toys may be in Canadian Toys R Us stores as early as this week...
One person sent us this detailed report-
Hasbro Canada (905) xxx-xxxx says that they have aleady shipped to TRU. TRU says that they haven't been shipped any product. The expected release date for the 2000/2001 figures was March 25th, and that has come and gone. The shipment from the 25th was supposed to be delivered on the 30th (today) and did not contain the figures. The expected shipping date of the next possible shipment is April 7th, with the product hitting the shelves within a week of that date.
While the units were ordered from Hasbro, TRU doesn't even have them in the warehouse yet. Additionally, there were to have been 2 previous shipments including the March 25th order. Hasbro says that TRU picks up shipments off the dock, and that the product should be in customer's hands withing a week.
When will we poor Canadians get our Joes? Also, Price point is $7.99 so Americans can come and enjoy some kickin exchange rate discounts!
