Yo? Joe?

I am wondering what a 1987 white w/orange patches PAYLOAD is worth.

Several online price guides are listed at http://www.yojoe.com/links/.

Two magazines have G.I.Joe price guides - "ToyFare" magazine and "Lee's Action Figure News". You can find either of these magazines at any book store or newsstand.

The BEST way to gauge how much your toys are worth is to get informed. Pick up some toy magazines, or even usenet newsgroups like rec.toys.action-figures.marketplace, and see what toy dealers and collectors are asking for their toys.

Lastly, before you decide to figure out how much your figures are worth, keep this in mind. Worth is only measured in what someone is willing to pay. For example, while a loose complete Grunt action figure may be "worth" $20, it might not be easy finding someone willing to pay you $20 for it.

Donīt tell me you have gotten rod of the BIG figure pictures for good? You know - the big pics that could be accessed by clicking the picture of the figure!

Unfortunately, at the moment, we have to conserve on disk space/bandwidth. A few things like the commercials, action figure close-ups, and thumbnail images are temporarily gone. We're going to put them back as soon as we're able to pay for the extra space/bandwidth.

I don't know if a lot of people remember these particular figures, as all I can find online anywhere are the larger ones, but there were some A-Team figures that were clearly GI Joe knock-offs.

There're pictures of those 3 3/4" ATeam figures at http://www.twinsuntimes.com/334archives/.

I was just at a Toys R Us and noticed another item in the new Joe section called the G.I.Joe Aircraft Carrier that was sold out... Is this for real?

Yes, it's a "G.I.Joe" aircraft carrier but it's not a 3 3/4" Real American Hero toy. It's some other miniature military toy.

I was looking at your site to try and find a GI Joe Bob Hope but I didn't find one. Would you know the value of such a doll?

Unfortunately, I know next to nothing about the 12" Joes. Try looking for more info at bigredtoybox.com.

I found this kite in my grandpa's garage. Does anybody else know anything about how rare it is, what it's worth, and what kind of money I could get for it?

It's really hard to price non-toy things like this. There are most likely a few people out there who collect things like your kite, but not a lot.

As for pricing something like that, the only way to price it is to find out what others are paying for similar items. Try searching Ebay and see if any other G.I.Joe kites are up for auction. How much are they getting?

Also, try checking websites that sell old kites. What are similar 80s era kites selling for?

I was wanting to know if any of the GiJoe cels you have pictured are for sale?

Sorry, but the cels pictured are from personal collections and are not for sale.

Here're a few tips I can recommend. Your best bet to find Sunbow cels would be to try searching Ebay, because there are so very few of them available for sale anywhere.

Cels from the DIC series are also difficult to find, but are not as highly in demand. Try searching Ebay as well for these. Also, there's a Los Angeles area animation dealer who is always finding these for sale at reasonable prices - Van Eaton Galleries.

Have you heard when the new figures will be out?

Nope. Wave 5 is supposed to be before January - Wave 1 with the new sculpts is supposed to be before March.

I collect Transformers prototypes. Could you direct me to anyone who may have access to some TF protos and/or test shots? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good question - I don't know of any Transformers site that has pics like that. You might use http://www.bigbot.com/ and http://www.transfans.com/ as starting points in your search.

My son wants a G I Joe Birthday party. Where can I get your supplies?

If you're looking for the older classic 80s ones that we have pictured on our site, those haven't been made for ten years and are very difficult to find collectibles. The only place to find them is to search Ebay.

If you just need general generic G.I.Joe birthday party supplies, I believe they sell them at http://www.partysmart.com.

I was just wondering if you knew what Accesory Pack #5 looked like.

The Accessory Pack #5 is part of the Vehicle/Playset Archive, which is temporarily down. We expect to have that back up in the next few weeks.

I'm looking for GI Joe coloring books that I can purchase. Do you have or know where I can go to find?

The coloring books pictured on our site have been out of print for at least ten years and are collectibles, so they're not easy to find. Your best bet would be to try searching Ebay.

I'm not sure if Hasbro has anyone making G.I.Joe coloring books. If they do, you might try calling Hasbro at 800-327-8264.
