British Battle Action Force Comics

Before the European toy company Palitoy completely incorporated G.I.Joe figures, vehicles, and characters into their storylines, the Action Force line was its own, completely separate entity - with it's own heroes and villains.

Pictured above are two comic book covers from Battle Action Force - the weekly comic book that followed the adventures of the Action Force team. The issue on the left is from January 1985, the issue on the right is from February 1985. Later that year, as Palitoy began simply re-issuing Hasbro G.I.Joe toys as Action Force toys, the comic books introduced the Cobra enemy and the storylines more closely resembled U.S. storylines.
