British Action Force Comics

Pictured above is issue #3 of Action Force - which in 1987, was the European version of G.I.Joe. Later, the team would be known as "G.I.Joe : The Action Force". By 1991, the term Action Force was dropped altogether.

The issues were a mix of reprinted American G.I.Joe stories along with original stories by British writers and artists. This particular cover has an original cover by a British artist. The oversized "magazine" format was the popular format for comic books in Britain at that time.
