![]() Mexico - ScarlettFront Close Up Back Close Up Filecard Close Up Among the most unusual international offerings of G.I.Joe are the G.I.Joe figures sold in Mexico. Packaged and sold by Hasbro in the late 1980s, figures sold in Mexico were not packaged with bubbles on cards. Instead, they were sold in large, attractive window boxes. Pictured above is the boxed Scarlett - named Oficial De Inteligencia, Nombre Clave: Scarlett. The entire box is in Spanish. The filecard for the figure was written on the backside of the flap. The figure is essentially the same as the straight-arm U.S. version of Scarlett, except that the Mexican version's uniform is more white than tan. From the collection of: David Croft |
