Brazil - Comandos em Ação History - Triton
While he was released in the U.S. as Ranger, Codename: Stalker, in Brazil he was released as Cabeça de Ponte, Nome de Código : Triton. The term "Cabeça de Ponte" translates literally into "Head of the Bridge", but it really means the same as "Beach Head".
Triton was part of the first Comandos em Ação series in 1984. He's a straight-arm figure and has no date stamp on the body. The back of the figure feature the Estrela logo on raised lettering. The figure came with the same accessory as the U.S. version - a black submachine gun.
While the vehicles released in 1984 did not come with vehicle drivers, the packaging and filecards were linked to encourage kids to buy both. The filecard of Triton explained that he operated the Jipe de Ataque (Attack Jeep-VAMP).
