Chapter 1 : Back in Action
	Short Summary The Action Force team is trying to discover where the Red Shadows are inside Iraq, after a brief fire fight they gain some information from a local that they are headed to the Iranian border. As the team arrives at the border crossing, they can see the Red Shadows soldiers loading rocket launchers but they aren't given permission to cross the border. Additional, the backstory of Doc, the Action Force team history and brief history of the Red Shadows and its leaders Black Major, Red Vulture & Red Laser is given.

Long Summary Doc & Scout join the rest of the Action Force team on a roof as they are assaulted by Red Shadows. Also on the roof are Jammer, Action Man, Quarrel, Hunter and Gaucho. In flashback: Doc joined the military because his mother was a military nurse and when he was very young he witnessed her save his father's life on a camping trip. Ever since that day all he wanted to do was help people. So he left Norway and joined the military, passed all training necessary and was asked to join Action Force as its medic. A reference is made to three Action Force team members that are deceased; Leopard, Nightingale & Wool Cap and how they were killed by the Red Shadows. (see Menace of the Baron & The Great Cobra Robbery) Doc was there to witness the deaths, which set him on mission to completely destroy all Red Shadows, which turned into a successful mission. (see World Enemy #1, Revenge of the Red Shadows, Showdown for The Red Shadows) The Red Shadows organization was completely dismantled but several of its top leaders escaped and still remain at large. They would be Black Major, Red Vulture and Red Laser. After successfully defeating the Red Shadows, Action Force was disbanded and Doc went on to different military assignments. Back in Iraq, based upon a report from the GI Joe team that the Red Shadows were back operating again (see Devil's Due Rise of the Red Shadows), a new Action Force team was reassembled and Doc was again selected as the team medic. This team was slipped into Iraq alongside the regular troop deployments. Two days before the roof top fight, the Action Force team is sent into a town wear soldiers wearing red were seen fighting. As the team arrived in the Iraq village bringing food and medcial supplies, one of the villagers informs them of the movement towards the Iranian border of the soldiers dressed in red. Additionally, the villager tells them about a group of US soldiers that arrived and were all killed but one. The one remaining alive was captured and tortured. The villager's cousin was charged with taking care of the tortured soldier. One day she arrived to see the soldier dead. His cousin then went missing and was discovered months later completely out her mind repeating the word, Blood, Blood, Blood. So using this information the Action Force team takes off towards the border with tank commander Steeler (GI Joe's Steeler) leading the convoy of tanks. They arrive at the border and can literally see Red Shadow soldiers loading rocket launchers onto a truck. But Captain Campbell gives them strict orders not to cross the border.
