GI Joe
In 1992, GI Joe was released in Poland in Polish. The publishing company is TM Semic based in Warsaw. Starting with issue #6 in 1993 Marvel began publishing the series directly. This series was released bi-monthly or monthly depending on the year. The 1992 there were 6 issues (one every two months), in 1993 there were 12 issues (one every month), in 1994 & 1995 6 issues (one every two months)and 3 issues in 1996.
As a side note, the regular US Marvel series stopped publishing in Decemeber of 1994. This is the only known country to regularly still be publishing GI Joe after it was cancelled in the US.
The numbering system, typical of some European countries, is simply issue # and year. Example: The mostly likely the first issue that came out in 1992 was called "Nr. 1 - 1992", and the 6th was called "Nr. 6 - 1992".
Different then most other European countries the GI Joe title is retained sometimes even including the subtitle "A Real American Hero", which is actually very rare to see in non-US printings of GI Joe. Typically of comics printed in Europe, there were two US comics to one of European version.
