| Long Summary
Tomax & Xamot are in pursuit of Barrel Roll. He has just broken into the Cobra computer system where he inputted a virus that will send out information to the Joes at The Pit. As he is about to take off on a jet ski, Dr. Mindbender holds a gun to his head, and demands to be taken of the island. Dr. Mindbender is then dumped off along the coast of Cobra Island by Barrel Roll, where he fights with several Vipers and runs off into the woods. Barrel Roll is being pursued by Copperhead in a water Moccasin. Barrel Roll is rescued by a GI Joe Tomahawk helicopter with Flint and Vorona providing cover fire.
Cobra Commander tests the Baroness loyalty, discovers the Joe virus, and gets the results of what Destro had been up to during his absence. As hints of a major new Cobra operation that may be starting soon are shown.
In Sierra Gordo, Destro is completely a deal with President Jesus Delacruz to protect his country from the high invading force that is attack his people. This is a double cross because it is Destro's Iron Grenadiers who are disguised as the invaders. The leader of the invaders is Guillermo Gomes of Sierra Muerte.
The Joes discover this. A team lead by field commander Recondo, includes Rip Cord, Tunnel Rat, Low Light, and new member Dart. They are in major firefight, where Low Light is seriously injured, Tunnel Rat shot, and rescued by the Sierra Gordo army. As Rip Cord fights a invader he sees an Iron Grenadier tattoo.
After having completed the deal with Delacruz, Destro returns to assure Guillermo that he have power in Sierra Gordo. In the middle of the moment, Delacruz walks and says that Sierra Gordo and Sierra Muerte had a peace agreement before the attacks. They called the Joes when Destro showed up. At that moment, Duke reveals himself, after having disguised himself as an Iron Grenadier. Destro is then arrested. Duke then flies out to gather his injured Joe team.
Cobra Commander informs the Baroness of Destro's arrest and puts the rescue mission on her approval. She chooses to let him rot in jail.
