Springfield, Blast Zone paint ball range; The Baroness drives Dawn in a stinger to the paint ball range for realistic combat training. Zarana joins in and throws her dagger at Dawn, Dawn catches the dagger and puts it to Zarana’s throat.

Cover Girl has been out of her coma for only three days and checks herself out of Walter Reed Medical. She boards a commercial flight. A young girl calls her a monster after hearing her voice. This is a side effect of being shot in the neck (See IDW Issue #223). The flight attendant moves Cover Girl to first class and thanks her for her service.

Cover Girl arrives at the Pit in Ft. Wadsworth. Lady Jaye is the only one there to greet her. The others are on a mission and Scarlett and Jinx are off in the city. Lady Jaye invites Cover Girl to join her in a ceremonial duty since she is already wearing her class A uniform. She asks if the voice is permanent and says the new voice is hot.

In the East Village NYC, Scarlett and Jinx go to the Ellen Bogen Antique and Oddities store. Jinx is surprised when Obake Obaasan pulls back a curtain and invites them into the back of the store through a Tardis.

In the back of the store is an armory. At the far back of the armory are the traditional weapons. Ellen shows them some throwing stars but Obake says they are more interested in upgrading Jinx’s halberd. Ellen shows them what appears to be a fully functioning flute. The sales pitch is interrupted when Scarlett sees someone in the ceiling rafters.

Akane the Silent Master drops down and Obake Obaasan, after stopping Scarlett from attacking, introduces her. Obake asks her why she is there, when Akane points at a surprised Jinx, Obake lowers her head and says she knew that day was coming.

In Olliestan, Bombstrike has landed and has buried her chute. She moves through the battlefield site that was once a Red Shadows facility (See IDW Issue #213). She rappels down into the facility through a shaft. Bombstrike surprises Dr Sidney Biggles-Jones who thinks she is a looter at first. Bombstrike disarms Biggles-Jones and leads her away at gunpoint. The Joes thought Red Laser had to have had help building the giant robot so Bombstrike was sent in to find out who else was involved.

The two pass a giant robot arm holding a pistol like weapon. Bombstrike asks if that is a rail gun (See Marvel Issue #139) The gun swivels and points at Bombstrike, a voice answers her question and says it is a prototype. The voice belongs to Dr. Cassandra Knox, Cobra Robotics Specialist.

Dr. Biggles-Jones takes Bombstrike’s rifle from her. She is now captured.

In Ogden,Utah at the Greater Ogden Municipal Hospital, Jane Colton has been sent to ask Claire Hauser about a phone call she received that originated in Benzheen. Claire leads Jane into a darkened room with no cameras and pulls a pistol on her.

At the St. Ewan Church, Lady Jaye and Cover Girl meet Mrs. Craig, the mother of Jodie Craig, also known as Shooter, the 14th Original Joe. (See Devil's Due GI Joe Declassified Issue #3) They present Mrs. Craig with the medals Jodie earned posthumously. Mrs. Craig thought Jodie was at the Chaplain’s Assistants School in Ft. Wadsworth, a noncombatant who died in a training accident. Lady Jaye explains that her mission has been declassified and that Jodie stayed behind and made sure Dr. Burkhart was rescued. (See Marvel Issue #1)

Cover Girl embraces Mrs. Craig and tells her that her gift to the team and the mission is appreciated and will never be forgotten.
