Long Summary Inside a very high tech submarine, Destro arrives at his new base of operations in the Arctic called Section Zero. The MASS Device has been completely transported to Section Zero and is being reassembled. Destro's assistants are to be keep hostage away from the base but he will still be able to contact them. At Castle Destro in Patagonia, the Joes are morning the death of there fellow Joes Six Gun and Hat Trick. Crank Case arrives with Brainstorm and Dial Tone who are going to be examining the area of the castle that had high ionization readings and a mysterious dust. In Springfield, IL, Mainframe is trapped in a basement underneath an injured Snake Eyes who is laying on the door. Snake Eyes has just survived an explosion as a cCobra Viper enters the room. Snake Eyes pops up and fires his Uzi straight into the chest of the Viper, who's armor just deflects the bullets. He jumps for cover. The Viper fires through the door at the screaming Mainframe down below. He ducks for cover. Snake Eyes is tying off a bleeding wound as a flash bang grenade goes off right in front of him. The Viper attacks and gets a throwing star in his gun hand causing him to stop firing and drop the gun. The Viper now taking cover behind a wall just misses being stabbed by Snake Eyes' sword as it comes through the wall. But it turns out to be a distraction as Snake Eyes comes from the other direction knocking the Viper down. The Viper pulls his pistol but Snake Eyes kicks it out of his hand. Now it is down to straight up knife fight. After several misses by the Viper, Snake Eyes stabs him in the leg, knocks him in head busting his helmet, breaks a wrist releasing the knife and pushes him onto the sword sticking out of wall. The Viper is dead and Snake Eyes just collapses to the ground bleeding from multiple injuries. Down below in the access way, Mainframe finds the door to what he is looking for and massive Cobranet computer server system. He is being monitored by a security system, but he still cracks the code pad door entry. Inside he discovers a bio-storage tank, stuff Mainframe thought was only theory and it is massive. He doesn't find any ports to jack into to get any information, but he does get a sample of the fluid in the tanks. In Patagonia, Brainstorm has cleared the room and begun investigating the dust. This is the same dust that Scarlett received from Snake Eyes. (see IDW #2) Labrat back in The Pit confirms it is the same. Brainstorm then warns Duke that Destro has created something very dangerous. At Section Zero, Destro is introduced to Armand Singh or otherwise known as Dr. Mindbender, the Cobra man in charge of reinstalling the MASS Device at the base. Although, they have never meet before both know of each others work and an uneasy appreciation comes between them. As they separate Dr. Mindbender mumbles about how impossible matter transfer is and Destro mumbles about how useless it is to study time travel. Destro asks the Baroness if he really has to work with him. She reminds him that his work with the MASS Device is now Cobra's work and since Dr. Mindbender is Cobra's chief scientific mind. He is in charge of the MASS device project. At The Pit, Joe team member Shareware receives a unauthorized transmission that has an old clearance code. It is Mainframe calling for an immediate extraction. Shareware reminds him of how much trouble he is in for being AWOL. Mainframe doesn't care he then tells him that General Hawk can get a two for the price of one deal because he has a very injured Snake Eyes with him. He gives him the coordinates and Shareware is surprised that Mainframe is even still in America, much less a town called Springfield. As Mainframe hangs up, he hears a jet above the building they are in. And that jet has just fired its missiles at the building. Summary by Josh Eggebeen
