Destro is in his office surrounded by books about teleportation and is wallowing in his self pity about his condition. He is trapped in an a full suit of armor to help control his body after a failed return through the MASS device. The Baroness tells Destro that she is going to be taking him and the MASS Device with her. He makes an attempt to attack but she hits him with a tazer and knocks him out. She then orders the Cobra soldiers to remove anything vital to the MASS Device. Which means pretty much everything. Outside the castle several large cargo helicopters arrive under the watchful eye of Flint. He calls to The Pit where he talks with new Joe Shareware. Flint doesn't know what is going on but it is big. Shareware informs Flint that he can't get a satellite over the Caste for a couple of hours and any support is even longer away. But he is working on it. Flint signs off with "It looks like moving day". In Seattle, Mainframe and Snake Eyes are sharing a pizza. Both Joes have gone rogue and off the radar. Snake Eyes without his mask on but face completely shadowed (slight scars are barely visable) gives Mainframe the half destroyed laptop from Nico Mandirobilis. This laptop should have tons of information that can lead them to proof of a huge global organization with trillions in assets. Mainframe left the Joes because he believed he discovered this massive criminal organization called Cobra and Hawk refuses to support it. So Mainframe went rogue to get proof. Once he plugs in the laptop into a clean system not connected to his, everything is immediately hit with viruses, worms and it burns right through every firewall in the clean system. It is a program like Mainframe has never seen. Snake Eyes takes a sketch off the wall filled with newspaper clippings. It is the Cobra symbol. In The Pit, Hawk is still handling investigations regarding Scarlett's court martial. He is currently interviewing Stalker about the mission that Scarlett sent him and his team on in the Philippines (see GI Joe #5). Stalker talks about losing the man he was sent to follow and the roll Snake Eyes played in the failure of the mission. Back in Seattle, Mainframe is really excited that Snake Eyes is after Cobra also. Mainframe then goes on to show him some serious proof that he discovered. The Cobranet it is an interconnected network separate from the regular internet, it is completely free standing worldwide web of evil. And he has located their servers and the nearest one is in a town called Springfield. And he shows Snake Eyes a map of the exact location of the server. Snake Eyes picks ups the keys, Mainframe packs and Snake Eyes changes into his normal all black uniform. And they head out to what Mainframe calls the "hotbed of terror" to get proof of Cobra. Over in Patagonia, a 10 man Joe team with AWE Strikers and motorcycles is dropped in. Duke, Cover Girl and Crank Case are the leaders of the team. Flint is waiting at the gates of Castle Destro, an empty castle. The last helicopter left hours ago. Hawk is still interrogating Stalker. He wants to know why Scarlett has been sharing information with Snake Eyes. He makes a comment about a mission in Myanmar that flipped a switch and sent him rogue. Stalker hates being used by Hawk but Hawk doesn't care. Snake Eyes and Mainframe are making a cross country journey and Snake Eyes wants to listen to ocean sounds. Back at Castle Destro, the Joe team is hunting for anything it can find. Beach Head leads one team into a basement using there night vision goggles. Cover Girl with new Joe Six Gun and another enter a huge room, when the wall starts coming apart. A robot covered in guns and about ten feet tall begins its attack. Summary by Josh Eggebeen | ||
