G.I.Joe: America's Elite

Published by Devil's Due, GI Joe America's Elite's first 19 issues were written by Joe Casey starting in 2005. Issues #19-20 were written by Mike O'Sullivan, who was also the editor for the entire series. Starting with issue #21, Mark Powers, a former editor of GI Joe Volume 2, finshed the series. Issues #25-36 were a twelve part story titled World War III. And at the end (July, 2008) wrapped up over 25 years of the GI Joe continuity that was started in 1982 by Larry Hama.

America's Elite takes place a year after the previous "The Real American Hero" Volume 2 series finished.
