Action Force Monthly
	Short Summary The Devil & the Deep Blue Sea Action Force is clearing the mines in front of an oil freighter. Two Cobra Rattlers are dropping the mines and attack Action Force. The Joes shoot down the Rattlers saving the freighter but the WHALE is lost. Betrayal Dusty survives a Cobra ambush where team member Julia Kreig went missing. He tracks down the Cobras killing all of them only to discover he had killed Kreig. She had betrayed Action Force and was a Cobra agent. Ancient Relics Part 4 Blades saves Wild Bill from his crashing Dragonfly, as Grimlock and Centurion continue to fight Megatron. Heavy Metal with several Maulers joins the attack on Megatron.
	Notes of Interest UK Action Force Monthly stories were reprinted in the US as European Missions. Ancient Relics Part 4 originally appeared in Action Force #25. Ancient Relics is a story crossover with the regular Transformer comic series. From the collection of Josh Eggebeen.

Long Summary The Devil & The Deep Blue Sea In the WHALE, Hawk, Cutter, Wet Suit and Sci-Fi are clearing mines in front of an oil freighter. Sci-fi using his laser rifle blows them up; on the side he spots the Cobra insignia. At the same time, the WHALE's radar picks up two Rattlers on its radar. These Rattlers are dropping mines directly in from of the freighter. Wet Suit opens fire on the Rattlers and they return fire with a missile attack that damages the WHALE and injuries Hawk. As the WHALE begins to sink, Wet Suit gets in a lucky shot that damages the engine of one Rattler causing it to crash into the ocean. The WHALE is drifting toward the mines as the last Rattler returns for another pass. Sci-Fi on the almost below surface WHALE, fires destroying the mines and with one well placed shot destroys the Rattler. Action Force then has to swim to the freighter that they have been protecting. Betrayal Dusty enters Flint's office asking for a discharge. Flint wants to hear Dusty's side of the story. On a desert patrol, Action Force members Dusty on foot and Julia Krieg driving the HAVOC are making their way through a mine field. The HAVOC hits a mine. Immediately a Cobra attack happens, the HAVOC is completely destroyed and Dusty is blown clear of the area. When he awakes Kreig is gone. Using the HAVOC's recon craft he follows the path of the Cobras. Finding the Cobra camp, Dusty attacks alone. He is able to completely catch the Cobra's off guard, killing them all. As he investigates the soldiers he discovers that dressed as Crimson Guard officer is Julia Krieg and Dusty killed her. After finishing, Flint reminds Dusty that Krieg betrayed them all and that his duty is to continue doing his job. Dusty agrees but shows his disappointment. Ancient Relics Part 4 Blades, recently recovered from an attack by Megatron, sees Wild Bill crashing in his Dragonfly. Transforming into his helicopter mode he saves Wild Bill. Megatron fighting with Grimlock and Centurion is doing lots of damage to everything. After Megatron beats Centurion he begins pounding on Grimlock. Flint calls in Heavy Metal and his Mauler tanks to help the support the Autobots. As the Mauler's attack, all they do is make Megatron mad. Summary by Josh Eggebeen
