Long Summary

A child in a classroom finds a Crimson Guard uniform in an unlocked storeroom. When confronted, Perkins draws a gun and takes the class and the headmaster (Mr. Miller) hostage. Perkins dons the Crimson Guard uniform.

Footloose and Flint join the authorities in surrounding the building, but Perkins kills Headmaster Miller in front of the children. When Perkins grabs another child, Sally, Turner confronts him. Perkins tries to explain that he's making the world better for his own children. Turner tells Perkins to shoot him, just not to think of his own kids when he does it. Perkins hesitates, drops his weapon and surrenders.

Outside the building, Flint congratulates Turner on the job done, but Flint tells Footloose that being held at gunpoint will haunt the kid for a long time.
