On the cover, Flint and Wild Bill are leading a squadron of Dragonflys, about to enter Chinese airspace. Wild Bill asks Flint if he wants to turn back, both of them knowing that ACTION FORCE is supposed to be grounded. Flint had found out about Quick Kick's mission when Michael Anke's wife, Valerie had come to see him. Trent, their Ministry of Defence liason, was none too happy that Quick Kick had disobeyed direct orders. Trent did give Flint an unofficial okay to go after Quick Kick after Flint threatened to quit ACTION FORCE. Meanwhile, Quick Kick is staked to the ground on the cold mountain snow, placed there by the leader of the Cult of the Two-Headed Serpent and his former friend, Michael Anke. Quick Kick is able to rub the restraining ropes across a rock, freeing himself. Quick Kick finds it hard to walk, but as he reaches the temple he finds it being attacked by COBRA!
