Description:
The Freedom Defense Outpost was released boxed as part of the Built To Rule line in 2005 through discount chains. Originally planned for release in 2004 (and only shown in the catalog), the set was considered by most to be unproduced until they began showing up on eBay in late 2005.
Early releases of the Freedom Defense Outpost came with NO instructions, but the box shows two different modes for it. Pictures below are based on the Mode 1 construction from the back of the box (the front of the box shows a mirrored image). Later releases did include the instruction book, showing instructions for both modes.

Duke came with the Freedom Defense Outpost set and had no accessories. The chest, crotch, and thighs were used in 2004 to make Alpine (v2) and the exact same mold was used to make BTR Duke (2003). Also of note is that the forearms and the calves sport places that you can attach blocks to.
