The G.I.Joe: Ninja Battles DVD was released in late 2004 as part of the Ninja Battles set, which included the Ninja Battles Comic Book, Ninja Battles playset, Black Dragon Ninja (v2), Shadow Strike, Snake Eyes (v22), Storm Shadow (v17), and Tiger Claw.

There is a variation in the DVD case - it was available either as a standard DVD case, or as a carboard box.

Extras included are a Spy Troops trailer, a Valor vs Venom trailer, and a Valor vs Venom music video.
