Early Bird General Hawk (Vendor Supplied Prototype)

The G.I.Joe Early Bird Certificate Set was offered only at the 1997 G.I.Joe Convention in Philadephia by Majic Productions. On the back was a certificate that could either be mailed in or turned in at the convention. The certificate allowed you to receive four "Vendor Supplied Prototype" action figures by mail.

Pictured above is General Hawk - one of the four Vendor Supplied Prototypes (VSP). As a prototype, the body parts were molded in several different colors instead of the colors used for the final figures. The VSPs are unpainted.
