Pictured above is the silhouette of Gears (1994) as the figure appeared in the 1993 yearly insert catalog. The 1993 catalog used several silhouettes as placeholders for figures to come. The Armor Tech and Power Fighters images appear to be silhouettes of production art rather than of actual figures. It should be noted that the silhouette of Gears is the same one used for Duke. This indicates that even earlier versions of the Power Fighter figures may have used the same body type as the Armor Tech figures. The description that accompanied these images indicates that they also would have come with motorized backpacks that would have powered their weapons, accessories, and vehicle.
