Description:

Pictured above is a prototype version of General Hawk (1993) as the figure appeared in a Hasbro product catalog. As opposed to the green-headed released version, this figure has a gold colored flight mask (as can be seen at the chin). Also, it uses the gun from Sci-Fi (1991), the helmet mold of Barricade (1992) rather than that of Armor Tech Star Brigade Duke (1993), and is painted in a brighter shade of gold.

When the figure appeared in the 1994 yearly insert catalog, it appeared with the helmet removed, but included a helmet more similar to the produced version, though missing the faceplate.

Pictured above is a silhouette as the figure appeared in the 1993 yearly insert catalog. The 1993 catalog used several silhouettes as placeholders for figures to come. The Armor Tech images appear to be silhouettes of production art rather than of actual figures. It is unknown if General Hawk was ever intended to include body-activated lights and sounds and spring-fired weapons as the other Armor Tech Star Brigade figures would have.
