Pictured above is a prototype version of Python Officer (1989) as the figure appeared in a 1989 Hasbro product catalog. At some point before production, names were swapped and this Python Officer prototype became Python Trooper (1989). However, note that the head used on this version does not have the triangle rank insignia on the helmet. Also note that the forearm bands have been painted yellow and that the belt has been given a wider application of gray with no black appearing on the waist portion above it.
