Ghostrider

Description:

Pictured above is a placeholder prototype of Ghostrider (1988) as the figure appeared on the box side of the Phantom X-19 Stealth Fighter. This figure was created using the head of Sneak Peek (1987) and the torso and arms of Heavy Metal (1985).

This prototype gives insight to the difference in Ghostrider's appearance on the package art and file card as compared to the actual figure.

Although the very different version pictured above also appeared on the box, the front of the package used another preproduction figure. This version appeared to use the Ghostrider mold, but the leg detail and red scarf were missing.
