Pictured above is a prototype of Budo (1988) as the figure appeared a 1988 Hasbro product catalog. Notable differences include the lack of red detail on the back of the hand and the use of gray on the hands. Also, the figure does not have a hook to hold any weapons, the color of the two swords appear to be reversed, and the helmet is painted slighly differently.
