Pictured above is a preproduction version of Duke (v16) (2004) as the figure appeared at the 2004 annual collector's convention in Orlando, Florida.

Note that the camo pattern is slightly different on the pants and face. Though the helmet is covering most of the hair, it appears that the figure has lighter hair like other recent Grunt figures rather than dark hair like the full production version of this figure.
