In 2009, Carlton Cards and its parent company, American Greetings, released several birthday cards tying-in with G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. Most cards featured some sort of gimmick: cut-out profiles on G.I. Joe characters, a fold-out poster, or special card designs.
