Cobra Terrordrome Shipping Sleeve
Pictured above is the shipping sleeve that was wrapped around boxes of the Cobra Terrordrome (1986) when they were shipped from Hasbro to retail stores. The purpose of the sleeve was to both ease warehouse tracking and to protect the nice graphics underneath while in transit to the final retail destination.
Unlike most packaged G.I.Joe toys, they were shipped in case assortments of 1. But instead of being totally enclosed in a full box, they were instead slipped in this 4-sided, extra-thick protective sleeve.
