Major Bludd Letter

Image Close-Up

In late 1982, Hasbro offered Major Bludd as a special mail-in offer. The offer was not heavily publicized and had unusual restrictions - instead of asking for flag points, it asked for UPC codes and a dated receipt from three G.I.Joe figures.

Pictured above is a letter that was sent back to someone who sent a question to Hasbro regarding the Major Bludd offer. The letter lists some Frequently Asked Questions about the Major Bludd offer and explains the offer in more detail. Considering how few people knew about the Major Bludd mail-in offer, there aren't a lot of these letters around.
