Pictured above is a five-pack of G.I.Joe comic books, released in 1987.

In the mid-eighties, Marvel Books began releasing these bagged sets of comic books through retail outlets like Toys R Us and Target. While some titles like Transformers and Secret Wars released first prints, G.I.Joe bagged sets were generally 2nd Printings of the hard to find, popular early issues of G.I.Joe.

This set contains five 2nd printings of G.I.Joe #2, #6, #8, #11, and #12. The key to spotting a 2nd print is to check the bottom of the first page - under the title information, it is always marked "2nd Printing". In addition, there are usually minor cover differences - usually the price.
