Action Figure: From the Journals of Richard Marzelak #1 (2006)

Pictured above is Action Figure: From the Journals of Richard Marzelak #1 comic released by Baboon Books in 2006. The comic was written and illustrated by Richard Marcej, who worked at Hasbro from 1983 through approximately 1988, and worked on many different toy lines including Transformers, Air Raiders, C.O.P.S. N' Crooks, Inhumanoids, G.I.Joe, Battle Beasts and Army Ants.

The comic features a semi-autobiographical look at the author's work at "Hasmark", the world's largest toy and greeting card company. One scene in the book describes a toy designers joy in sneaking an obscene message onto a "U.S. Army Guy Ultra-Terrain Vehicle."

This book is currently available at BaboonBooks.com.
