G.I.Joe Lunchbox - 1986
In the elementary school playground, nothing was more important to one's self esteem than the lunchbox. The difference between a cool lunchbox and a stupid lunchbox was the difference between a happy childhood and a lifetime of therapy.
Pictured above is the plastic 1986 G.I.Joe lunchbox made by the Aladdin company. The only artwork is the sticker on the front, the rest of the lunchbox is molded in blue plastic.
Most noteworthy about this lunchbox is the cover art. It's another rendition of the "Live the Adventure" artwork that graced the 1986 G.I.Joe catalog among others. However on this lunchbox, the artist added Sgt Slaughter and his Triple-T tank. To the best of my knowledge, this is the only "Live the Adventure" artwork that depicts Sgt Slaughter.
