S.T.R.I.K.E.

Pictured is the S.T.R.I.K.E. (Strategies and Tactics to Repel, Immobilize, and Knock-out the Enemy) insert that was packaged with G.I.Joe vehicles and playsets sold in the United States in 1986. The insert advertised several mail-in offers from Hasbro Direct - mostly vehicles that were no longer sold in stores, but also a handful of mail-in exclusives.

The items for sale included the APC, Slugger, Polar Battle Bear, Wolverine, the PAC/RATs (Flame Thrower PAC/RAT, Machine Gun PAC/RAT, and Missile Launcher PAC/RAT), Hooded Cobra Commander, Stinger, HISS, ASP, Sky Hawk, Parachute Pack, FANG, MANTA, Water Moccasin, the Mass Device VHS, and a G.I.Joe Mobile Strike Force Team membership.

The insert was first available in 1986 and the offers in it expired 9/30/1987.
