S.T.A.R.S. Transformers Insert

Pictured above is the S.T.A.R.S. (Secret Transformers Autobot Rescue Squad) insert that was packaged with Transformers sold in the United States in 1985 and 1986. The insert advertised a handful of Transformer mail-in exclusives from Hasbro Direct for "Robot Points".

What makes this insert noteworthy is that it also included G.I.Joe mail-in offers. Either flag points or robot points could be redeemed for G.I.Joe vehicles.
