Find Your Fate - Operation: Tiger Strike

Ballantine Books published a series of Young Adult books under the "Find Your Fate" logo. The gimmick - by making decisions at certain points of the book, you changed the outcome of the story and you went to a certain page instead of another.

Pictured above is number 19 in the series - Operation: Tiger Strike by William Sno. The book is 88 pages in length, its ISBN # is 0-345-34067-1, and it was first published in July of 1987.

The back of the book reads: Only the G.I. Joe Team is brave enough to volunteer for OPERATION: TIGER STRIKE.

"So that's the story, Sting," says a grim-faced Hawk. Your eyes meet the gaze of Roadblock, Gung-Ho, Dial-Tone, and Recondo.

Hawk wants you - Sting, one of the G.I. Joe Team's top martial artists - to join him and the other men on an unauthorized mission to save Lily Soong, an old friend's kidnapped daughter. Alone in the Orient and without operation support, this mission will require stealth, speed, and savage hand-to-hand combat. How can you refuse?

But you might find obstacles you did not reckon for - hordes of evil Ninjas, your fighting equal Storm Shadow, COBRA arms dealer Destro, and an ingenious Temple of Death filled with cruel booby traps. One wrong move and you might not come back! So sharpen your senses, Sting, as you FIND YOUR FATE.

The cover was painted by Hector Garrido.
