Find Your Fate - Operation: Night Flight
Ballantine Books published a series of Young Adult books under the "Find
Your Fate" logo. The gimmick - by making decisions at certain points of
the book, you changed the outcome of the story and you went to a certain
page instead of another.
Pictured above is number 10 in the series - Operation: Night
Flight by William Sno. The book is 88 pages in length, its ISBN # is
0-345-33787-5, and it was first published in October of 1986.
The back of the book reads: Is Cobra behind the theft of an important
new defensive weapon? The GI Joe Team must uncover the truth about
OPERATION: NIGHT FLIGHT.
Your code name is Delta. You're a pilot training for advanced ratings in
nighttime fixed-wing combat in the new P-140 fighter plane.
While on guard duty, you observe three members of the GI Joe Team coming
toward you. Suddenly, they open fire - and moments later take off in the
P-140! Would real members of the Team steal the plane??
Of course, you all suspect that Cobra is behind the caper. You and your
team - Low-Light, Gung-Ho, Rock 'n Roll, and Dial Tone - must find the
plane and make sure no infiltrators remain on the base.
This is a tricky case, Delta! A wrong move can have serious
consequences, so make the right choices as you FIND YOUR FATE.
The cover was painted by Hector Garrido.
