Pictured above is the first page of a G.I.Joe Valor Vs. Venom Licensing Style Guide. Hasbro sent these style guides to licensees to provide the companies with character art, packaging guidlines, fonts, logos, etc.

The Valor Vs. Venom Style Guide includes two CDs and is 65 pages in length. The style guide is divided into four section: brand elements, character art, design elements, and lifestyle. The first section, brand elements, is further divided into logos, color matrix, typography, master patterns, graphic elements, and packaging. The second section, or character art section, has twelve different characters and each character has two pages of art and biographical information. The third section, or design elements section, features different brand icons. Finally, the fourth and last section, or lifestyle section, features different items with examples of brand art such as apparel and consumer products.
