Description:

Pictured above is a prototype version of Colonel Guile from the Street Fighter Heli-Fighter as the figure appeared in Hasbro's 1995 Pre-Toy Fair Catalog. The most obvious difference is the use of the Van Damme-style head rather than the original G.I.Joe Street Fighter Guile head.

Note that the Guile figure pictured above was never produced. The mold was used to create a different uniform for the two-pack while the color of the preproduction figure closely resembles that of the G.I.Joe Street Fighter Guile (1993). Additional evidence that this is an early package mockup are the facts that the character names have been reversed and that Guile has been misspelled "Gulie."

Note that the above image shows early mockups of the Guile figures released. It is unknown if these were created simply as placeholders to demonstrate a similar product to retailers or if the figures were originally intended to be released with these molds.
