Step One: Determine the accessory's color

Choose the color that most closely resembles the color of the accessory. If the accessory has several colors, choose the one that you think is the dominant color.

NOTE: Inspect the accessory closely and make sure it hasn't been repainted in any way.

Step Two: What kind of accessory is it?

Choose the type of accessory that it is from the categories list.

If you're not certain, don't worry. Make an educated guess - if it's a strange accessory, it will be listed in multiple categories.

Step Three: Find the Accessory from the Resulting List

The window will load the different accessories that match the criteria. Once you've found the accessory, click on it. A new window will open with more information about the accessory.

As WHOBIT is designed at this moment, it has to load hundreds of JPG images at one time for you to easily scan and compare the accessory images. As a result, WHOBIT can seem extremely slow. Unfortunately, we don't see any convenient way around this.

If you want to use WHOBIT, you should be on a fast connection or be patient until all the images load.

A few possibilities:

• It may not be a G.I.Joe accessory. There are thousands of different accessories that look just like G.I.Joe accessories. Some even used the same molds as G.I.Joe accessories but aren't official G.I.Joe accessories, so most likely not pictured here. Although, in time, we hope to have as many of these pictured as possible.

• It might be a part of a G.I.Joe vehicle and not a figure accessory.

• We may have accidentally not depicted it here.

Just use the dominant color - whatever color makes up the majority of the accessory. If it's hard to tell, don't worry - the accessory will most likely be listed under all the colors.

To help separate the guns a bit, I divided them up into "big" guns and "small" guns. Use 1 inch [2 centimeters] as a good rule of thumb - if the gun is larger than 1 inch, it's big.

If it's close, don't fret - the accessory will be listed under both categories.

If you're using an older web browser or don't have a lot of free memory, the web browser may be crashing trying to load all the images. Try turning off images loading in your web browser - then you'll have to click one at a time to load each image one at a time.

I've seen this happen on a few Windows machines running older versions of Netscape. It has something to do with the Javascript used to open the new windows with more information about the image.

If you're running into this problem, instead of clicking on the image, RIGHT-CLICK on the image and choose "Open in New Window". Or consider updating and/or re-installing your Netscape.

Yes, as long as you don't plan on using more than 50 accessory images at any one time. A link or a mention to YOJOE.COM would be nice, but not mandatory.
