Figure Description
This version of Zartan was available carded in India in 2001. G.I.Joe toys in India were produced by the Funskool toy company.

Accessories:
Zartan came with a red laser pistol, a black chest piece, two black thigh pads, a brown backpack, a brown hood, a brown backpack, and a hard plastic mask.

Variations:
Zartan upper forearm sections above the elbow and below the swivel are black on the first month's production run. Subsequent runs have flesh colored upper arm sections.

Body Construction:
The figure is made from the same mold of the U.S. release of Zartan (1984). However, Funskool made several design changes to the figure.
Firstly, unlike the U.S. version, the hood is removable. In addition, the face is colored differently. The Funskool figure also does not have the color change plastic that the U.S. version had.
In addition, the Indian plastic used is of slightly lower quality.
