Super Cop was first available carded in India in 2001, though the figure's packaging was dated much earlier. G.I.Joe toys in India were produced by the Funskool toy company.

The figure is made from the head mold of Sgt Slaughter, the chest, waist, and leg molds of General Hawk, and the arms of Iceberg.
